Children's Conduct Policy
Policy Statement
Peoples Library seeks to provide resources and facilities for patrons to make use of in a safe, non-disruptive environment.
We appreciate your assitance in adhering to these rules in order to make the library conducive to learning.
- Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18.
- Certain programs may require the presence of a parent/adult regardless of the age of the child.
Definition
The following behaviors are not allowed:
- Eating or drinking;
- Disrupting other library users;
- Screaming or yelling;
- Running;
- Throwing objects;
- Swearing;
- Any other behavior that is disruptive or is not safe; and
- Taking photos of others in the library without their permission.
